Meet the Maker

I’m a Maine-based artist and maker creating wearable pieces inspired by quilts, folk art, heirloom textiles, and the generations of women who have used their hands to create beauty from the materials around them.

Sar Desveaux Studio grew from my love of traditional craft: the patience of beadwork, the storytelling of textiles, and the magic of turning something forgotten into something new. Whether I’m weaving tiny glass beads one by one or reimagining fabric scraps with stitching and appliqué, my work celebrates slow, intentional making.

Each piece is created by hand in my little Maine studio with the hope that it feels both nostalgic and new, made to be worn, loved, and lived in.
