Hi, I'm Sar. I'm a Maine-based maker with a lifelong habit of collecting creative hobbies. What began as curiosity about beadwork eventually grew into a larger studio practice that also includes textiles, upcycled clothing, and whatever craft manages to capture my attention next. While the mediums change, the thread running through all of my work stays the same: a love of thoughtful craftsmanship and pieces that are made to last.

Much of my inspiration comes from heirloom textile and bead crafts, folk art, and the generations of women who made beautiful things with patience, resourcefulness, and care. I'm drawn to objects that feel familiar yet unexpected; pieces that could belong just as easily in an old family photo as they do today.

Every piece is made by hand in my Maine studio. Stitching together thousands of glass beads, sewing new life into a forgotten garment, or taking apart vintage jewelry, each of my works is made slowly and intentionally with the idea that these new pieces are just beginning the next chapter of their existence.

Whether I’m beading in the sunshine, sewing together scraps in my studio, or falling down yet another creative rabbit hole, rest assured my next project is already in the works.
